Enlighten

Did your tattoo seem attractive at one time, but not so attractive today? Or is your tattoo a permanent reminder of what was just a temporary feeling? If so, you are not alone! Change of heart or regret is the #1 reason why people seek laser tattoo removal.

Fortunately, de-inking has progressed from a so-so, time consuming process to a much faster, safe and effective method. Finally, that unforgettable tattoo can become forgotten with the most advanced laser tattoo removal technology available on the market – Enlighten.

Most Up to Date Laser Tattoo Removal Technology
Enlighten has emerged as the premier solution for laser tattoo removal. Featuring dual pulse durations (2 ns + 750/660 ps) and three unique laser wavelengths (532, 1064, 670 nm), enlighten has the power to clear all ink colors, variable ink particle sizes and densities in fewer treatments.

Enlighten features extremely short and high-power picosecond laser pulses which efficiently and quickly breaks down the ink particles in tattoos. A picosecond is one-trillionth of a second and is 1,000 times shorter than nanosecond pulses used in existing lasers for tattoo removal. Picosecond laser pulses have been shown to remove tattoos more completely and in fewer treatment sessions than traditional laser used historically in the past.

  • Safe for all skin types including darker skin
  • Exceptional clearance and results
  • Fewer treatments needed than other laser tattoo removal devices

Photofacial

The NauraLight Photofacial is a light treatment that targets pigment issues, such as brown spots, sun damage and red spots, and Rosacea. The bright light passes through the epidermis, drawing out the pigment producing cells and dispersing the uneven pigment. Photofacials can be used on the face, neck, chest, shoulders, back arms, legs and just about anywhere else. Photofacials are also an effective treatment for broken veins and spider veins.

What Conditions does a Photofacial Treat?

  • Brown and Red Spots
  • Freckles
  • Sun Damage
  • Spider Veins
  • Redness
  • Rosacea (enlarged facial blood vessels)
  • Pigment Imperfections

Treatment Areas for a Photofacial:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Hands
  • Shoulders
  • Legs
  • Arms

What to Expect During a Photofacial:
Photofacials target pigment producing cells below the surface of the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy and destroys the hyperactive melanin producing cells in the layers of your skin, eventually dispersing pigmented areas. The spots are pulled to the surface, eventually turning into a coffee-ground-like texture that eventually flakes off revealing beautiful, radiant skin beneath.  The treatment can be a little uncomfortable.  Patients have compared it to a rubber band snapping on their skin.  The appointment will last approximately 30 minutes.

Who is/is not a Candidate for a Photofacial?
Those with a higher Fitzpatrick score, those with a tan and those with melasma are not good candidates. Because the light rays are attracted to pigment, darker skin tones can actually become discolored and melasma patches can become darker.

How Many Treatments will be Needed?
For best results, 3-5 treatments are typically recommended, about four weeks apart.

Contraindications/Risks for Photofacials:
As with any aesthetic treatment, there are risks; however, this is why you should only trust an experienced and licensed aesthetician. Clients with melasma will experience a darkening in those areas and should not be treated. Those who have been on a strong antibiotic or Accutane should not receive treatment until six months after the last treatment.

PICO Genesis

Introducing one of the newest and most advanced treatments for pigmentation, melasma and overall skin revitalization – with no downtime.

What is PICO Genesis?
PICO Genesis is the latest aesthetic treatment to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, including unwanted freckles, sun damage, age spots and melisma – gently, predictably and quickly. The PICO Genesis skin revitalization treatments will make your skin appear lighter, brighter and more even by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production.

How Does the PICO Genesis Treatment Work?
Everyone’s skin contains a substance called melanin. It’s what gives our skin its color. When melanin occurs in high concentrations, it can result in brown spots, uneven skin tone and melasma. Melasma typically occurs as a result of hormonal changes, such as pregnancy, and can be worsened by light laser or some heat laser treatments.  The PICO Genesis now offers those with melasma and other pigment issues a safe, effective option.

PICO Genesis uses higher peak power with a strong, non-thermal, photomechanical effect to shatter the pigment without causing thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. The Pico Genesis offers two highly effective laser wavelengths that treat problematic skin conditions without disrupting the dermis or skin surface.

Safe for all skin types, the ultra-short pulses cause intense, yet non-painful photo mechanical disruption and remodeling of the upper dermis. This leaves you with brighter, more uniform skin color, increased skin elasticity and tone and an overall revitalization.

How Many Treatment Sessions are Required?
A series of three or four PICO Genesis treatments are recommended to receive optimal outcome, and ongoing maintenance treatments are encouraged to sustain results over time.
